These Terms of Use apply to Thread to Self, provided by You-R-Here LLC.
Thread to Self is a personal writing and note-capture tool.
User responsibility and acceptable use
- You are responsible for the content you enter in the app.
- You may not use the app for illegal, abusive, or infringing activity.
- Messages cannot be edited after submission and deletion is permanent.
Trial and purchase
- A 30-day trial permits writing.
- After the trial, writing is disabled unless you purchase the $4.99 non-consumable unlock.
- After the trial, existing messages remain readable, and deletion, Jump navigation, export, Settings, local storage, and iCloud synchronization remain available.
- Purchases and refunds are handled by Apple under App Store policies.
- The purchase is associated with your Apple Account and may be restored where supported by Apple.
Availability, backup, and data loss
The app is provided as-is, and availability is not guaranteed.
The developer is not responsible for lost data, device failure, iCloud problems, accidental deletion, or failure to export information.
You should export important information when appropriate.

- Features and these terms may change in future versions.
- To the maximum extent permitted by law, You-R-Here LLC disclaims warranties, express or implied, including fitness for a particular purpose and non-infringement.
- To the maximum extent permitted by law, You-R-Here LLC is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for loss of data, use, or profits.
- These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Texas, United States, without regard to conflict-of-law principles.
